Starlink Installations
Starlink is satellite internet provided and operated by SpaceX. The Starlink system, once installed, provides high-speed, low-latency satellite-based broadband internet. It is a connection that is fast, so you stream movies, play online video games and work from home.
Using advanced satellites in a low orbit, Starlink enables fast streaming, ideal for video calls, online gaming, and other high data rate activities. As a Starlink user you can expect to see download speeds of between 100 Mb/s and 230 Mb/s in the UK and latency as low as 20ms in most locations (although this may be lower in peak usage hours).
Starlink is suited for rural areas and remote communities where internet connectivity is unreliable or unavailable. For the most part, our Starlink Installations are in rural areas where superfast cable or fibre broadband network is not available.
Subscription plans
All Starlink subscription plans include unlimited high-speed data on land with no long-term contracts or commitments for residential customers. The kit is available online and can be bought from John Lewis and Amazon starting from £299

How it Works
First, you’ll need to order your Starlink kit. It is important to also order the pipe adaptor. This allows us to install the dish and adapt it to a mast and bracket that we provide. The pipe adaptor does not come as standard with the kit you will receive, so please make sure this is included on your order.
Positioning is vital
In order to operate effectively the Starlink Dish needs to have a clear ‘line of sight’ to the sky above. Horizon offer a free survey. We can advise on the dish position and neatest installation for the cable route from the dish to the router. Our engineers will install your Starlink Dish, so it gives the clearest signal and is free from obstacles. The Starlink comes with a standard length of cable so the position of the dish in relation to the router needs to be taken into consideration.
Once you have decided and agreed with us the installation you order the kit and we do the rest. Horizon offer a professional installation by Dean and Les with over 40 years combined experience.
